Teeth (song)

[edit]

Improved to Good Article status by Another Believer (talk). Nominated by FrB.TG (talk) at 20:42, 4 March 2016 (UTC).

  • Article was promoted to good on the same day as being nominated for DYK. It is long enough, neutrally written with lots of inline citations and I can find no evidence of copyright violations. The hook, in sourced in line and I have done some research on the term 'sued' as I wasn't sure if this was past tense referring to a successful outcome of a lawsuit - it seems not and this is the correct use. As this case was in 2013, it would be good to have the outcome of the case in the article? QPQ done. I agree this DYK should be saved for Gaga's birthday on 28th March. ツStacey (talk) 14:06, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
@Staceydolxx: I searched for the suit and I didn't see any results post-November 2015, the period when the suit took place. The media did not report the outcome or proceeding of the case. -- Frankie talk 15:15, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
I am just nervous about putting in the hook when he might have been unsuccessful therefore the hook appears unduly negative on Gaga (though I am sure she could handle it!) - Is there any chance we could think of a new hook - an admin might still choose to put it forward but I don't want to make the decision on this one! ツStacey (talk) 18:38, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
Not sure on this one either but here is another one:

ALT1: ... that Lady Gaga's "Teeth" has been described as a "perverse march" and a "gospel ode" to sadomasochism?

  • with ALT1 - It doesn't make me want to listen to the song but it is intriguing as an article and is fully sourced. Thanks for offering an alternative - G2G! ツStacey (talk) 19:59, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
